Another LO I recently made.

I made this LO last week using a template.  Now I am not big on one photo on my pages but I am trying to be more open to this style.  I do have to admit I really like this LO and it turned out beautiful.  I typically print out 12X12 pages so I am still trying to decide if this LO will make the cute.  I like to try to have more than two pictures per page that I print for my 12X12 pages, well I really shoot for more than three, but this LO is just so darn cute and it shows off my baby who is three years old in this picture.  Where does the time go?  He is six years old now, WOW.

Inspirational Lane Mini Madness Challenge

I am trying to get back into doing challenges again.  So today I decided to head over to Inspirational Lane and take a stab at one of their challenges.  I picked Mini Madness, in which you are given a mini kit and you have to make a LO using all the the pieces of the mini kit.  So here is my take on this kit.  I had to scrap a LO of Sean at the Colorado Festival with the fairy so he would not feel left out.

Here is a LO I completed for a template challenge over at Scrappity-Doo-Dah

I am excited to have this LO done.  Rob and I took the kids to the Renaissance Festival again last summer.  Keegan is excited to watch all the shows, but Sean is not quite there.  We went last summer for the Love and Romance weekend so Rob and I could renew our vows.  Last July, we celebrated our 10th year married.  It was fun to share with the boys where we got married, well we have shown them many times before but this year was different and more special.  We even saw the priest who originally married us, as he performed the Vow renewal ceremony.  It was a very fun day!

Yippee !

Today I was very busy volunteering at the boys school so I did not get online until the afternoon.  So when was able to get on my computer,  I was pleasantly surprised to be invited to join a new CT that I had applied to this week.  I am now officially a member of Twin Mom Scraps CT.  Check out her blog  or her main store.  So this evening I decided to participate in one of her challenges at Cool Scraps Digital .  The challenge is to create a LO using all and only the items provided from the challenge mini kit.

Here is my LO -

Here is a LO entry I for the "Capture Life" Scrap Off Contest on MLAS

I entered the "Capture Life" Scrap Off Contest on MLAS.  I am hoping to win first place and the 1st place prize is an bamboo tablet.  WOW!!  2nd and 3rd place are free digital scrapbooking kits, which are always a BONUS!  This LO was very fun to create if you ignore the fact that my first attempt was completely lost after my PSE software choked.  But I just laughed it off and reloaded my software, again, and started over.  But I do have to say I like my second version much better.  Now I have to wait until 2/21 to find out if I make the first week cut.  There are about 48 people who signed up to participate and we were told that half of us will be cut, OUCH.  Talk about rough, LOL.  Well, I really hope I get to continue on with the Scrap Off as I am really looking forward to the next prompt.  Here is my LO, hope you like it as much as I do.  Click here to see all the entries for week #1.

YIPPEE!

Yippee!  I ordered parts to repair my Laptop a few weeks ago and I received them the end of last week.  So I was scared to take on the task for fear of breaking my laptop even more.  Well, today I decided it was time to take on the challenge.  I am glad to say it appears to be  working fine after totally tearing into the inside of the laptop.  I am excited that my LCD cover now works again after replacing the LCD cover, hinges and bevel.  Lets hope it holds for a LONG time.  This laptop has been through many repairs, and it is time for it to cooperate.

I am also excited that both of my CT will soon be active again so I hope to be cranking out LO very soon.

Last night I decided to try an online printing company Scrappingsimply.com .  They were running a super bowl special and I decided to print off all those pages I have been working on over the last few months.  I can't wait to see how they turn out.

Now back to scrapbooking, organizing and cleaning.

Scrapbooking Playdate!

Yeah, I finally got out to a digital scrapbooking date with my friends today, even though my laptop is still broken.  I can't close my laptop because my hinges are broke.  I am still waiting for the new parts to arrive.

But I am excited that I did get one more page done from Christmas 2009.  YIPPEE!  I think it is funny that I learn new things still every day.  Like today, I learned how to add shadows.  So now my pages will have more depth.

Here is a page for the boys Gingerbread House decorating at Colorado Mills.  We have been going there for several years and the boys still look forward to it every year.  Maybe it is because the get to eat candy and icing.  But I am excited that they are still excited to go!
